The Sibley East School Board, during its regular monthly meeting in Arlington on Monday night, Aug. 19, considered two quotes to tile and repair the frost boil in the bus loop at the elementary school in Gaylord.

The first quote was from Dirt Merchant, Inc. at a cost of $50,930 and the second from Wm. Mueller & Sons for $24,430.

School Board member Avery Grochow was unhappy with the information provided by Larson Engineering who came to look at the lot in April because he said they did not recommend a fix.  Grochow felt that it was not done right the first time because there was a big seam in the parking lot where water was getting in every time it rained causing the damage.
