The Sibley East varsity wrestling team will advance a record 10 wrestlers to the Minnesota State Class A Boys Individual Wrestling Tournament at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul on Friday, March 2 and Saturday, March 3.

The wrestlers include Drayden Morton (106), Derek Steele (113), Dayne Morton (120), Lincoln Carpenter (138), Tommy Wentzlaff (152), Logan Tesch (160), Tim Lewis (170), Thomas Battcher (182), Andrew Schauer (195) and Austin Streich (285).

The wrestlers earned the honor after they placed first or second in their respective weight classes during the Section 4A Individual Wrestling Tournament at the Kimball High School on Saturday, Feb. 24.

The Sibley East wrestlers will all wrestle their first matches at 1 p.m. Friday, March 2.
