The Sibley East varsity boys and girls track teams are eager to get outside for practice and outdoor meets, according to head coach Chad Johnson.

Sibley East, due to the snow and cold weather, has yet to hit the outdoor track in Arlington.

“The runners have been running the streets and hallways,” said Johnson. “The kids in the field events are getting the raw end of the deal. They have not been able to practice their specialized events.”

Sibley East competed in an indoor meet at Minnesota State University, Mankato, last week. Another indoor meet at MSU was scheduled for Tuesday night, April 10.
