The visiting Sibley East varsity girls basketball team rallied from a seven-point halftime deficit and defeated Le Sueur-Henderson 51-45 in Minnesota River Conference action on Friday evening, Jan. 4.

The Lady Wolverines, who trailed 29-22 at halftime, outscored the Giants by 13 points during the second half for the win.

Senior Rachel Rettmann and junior McKenzie Latzke topped the Lady Wolverines with 17 and 16 points respectively. Sophomore Audrey Parrott tossed in seven points while junior Lexy Stock and sophomore Maddi Tuchtenhagen scored five and four points respectively. Sophomore Ellie Harens added two points.
