The visiting Sibley East varsity girls volleyball team opened its season with a 3-0 win over G-F-W in non-conference action on Tuesday night, Aug. 28.

The Lady Wolverines took the three games 25-23, 25-14 and 25-21 respectively.

 Senior Rachel Rettmann sparked Sibley East with 21 kills, four service aces and one block. Senior Kasha Bates had 16 kills, four digs, one block and one service ace. Senior Madi Krentz dished out 21 set assists and collected five kills, three digs and one service ace. Senior Morgan Matthews had 12 set assists, three digs and one service ace while sophomore Shanise Bates added four digs, two blocks and one service ace.
