The Sibley East boys and girls cross country teams competed in the 2018 Giant Co-Ed Cross Country Invitational at the Ney Nature Center near Henderson on Tuesday afternoon, Oct. 2.

Varsity Co-ed Team 5K
In the Varsity Co-Ed Team 5K (five girls, five boys and all runners score), junior Travis Andrews placed second with a time of 17:13. Senior Jens Lundstrom finished fourth with a clocking of 17:41 while sophomore Micah Scherer placed eighth with a showing of 19:27. Sophomore Davis Wibstad followed in ninth place with a time of 19:32. Sophomore Oscar Kreft finished 17th with a showing of 20:29. Sophomore Isabelle Ballalatak placed 21st with a clocking of 21:13. Sophomore Audrey Parrott finished 28th with a showing of 21:47 while eighth grader Kaitlyn Scherer followed in 29th place with a time of 21:48. Sophomore Jaden Kmetz finished 36th with a clocking of 23:11 while Tora Stainbrook placed 40th with a time of 26:17.
