Sibley FSA Office is moving

2017-12-28

New Year’s brings to mind change for many people. The employees at the Sibley County Farm Service Agency (FSA) Office are preparing for a very big change too. The Sibley County USDA Service Center will be moving locations on Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2018, and Wednesday, Jan. 10, 2018.

Although the relocation will not be too far, customers should anticipate interruption of services on both Jan. 9 and 10, 2018.
Many farmers choose to take commodity loans shortly after the beginning of the new year for tax purposes. The Sibley FSA Office is expecting a significant increase in interest in the commodity loan program this year compared to prior years. As a result of increased interest and the upcoming office relocation, employees are encouraging customers interested in loans to call the Sibley County FSA Office to make appointments. Appointments will help employees ensure that its customers receive the best quality customer service through the busy transition period.

Both NRCS and FSA will be located in the old Poquette building adjacent to the new Soil and Water Conservation District Offices. The physical address for the new space will be 112 Fifth Street in Gaylord. However, FSA will continue to utilize the existing Post Office Box #868 for receipt of mail.
