My mom is Inez, and I have learned so many beautiful things from her. She has a heart of gold and is always here for me, my siblings, 14 grandchildren, and 23 great-grandchildren, and loved by all.
She has been through many hardships in her life and has taught me how strong she is and has given all of us - love, caring, understanding that no one can even imagine.
She is always there for her family - to talk, listen, laugh, cry, with her arms open wide to hug us all.
She always takes so much pride in everything her family does. Mom, I hope that as the years go by in my life that I can become the same beautiful woman that you are. I am so blessed to call you MY MOM! Thanks for being my best friend! I love you! Your daughter, Rita.

This is my mom, Missy. She is special to me for many reasons. Besides being a mom, she is a lovely grandmother to my niece Haidyn. She works full time as a nurse to help support our family. She is very active in our church, she is Sunday School Superintendent, and she helps do fundraisers for the kids at our church  to go to church camps.
My mom does many things with me that are fun. One of them is when she takes me along to her scrap booking retreats. When she takes me along the things that make it fun is doing projects together and looking at old pictures.
My mom is always sure that when she gets home she puts on that apron and starts to get a home cooked meal ready for supper. She is a lovely cook and baker.
The thing that I love about my mom is that with all the busy things she has going on she still has time to attend her kids’ activities, and she is always there for me when I needs someone to talk to.

A Special Mother!
My mom is special to me because she is loving, caring and very generous to others! Everyday she is there for me and I can always count on her to help me with stuff. Every time I run into trouble she is there to fix and help it. Every night she comes into my room and prays with me. I couldn’t ask for a better mom.
Some of the things we do together is we cook. We make butterscotch drops, almond bark crackers, and eggs. I’m always in the kitchen with her. She comes to my baseball games and supports me. She helps me with homework. We clean house together. We tell funny stories and go for walks. When my grandpa was still alive, we always would go there and laugh and laugh and laugh ’till I couldn’t laugh anymore.
I love my mom a lot. I don’t know what I would do without her. Even if she is embarrassing, she will always be my mom no matter what. I love you mom!

You Know She’s Special Now Let Her Know...

I love my mom, Dorothy Woestehoff.
She is a one of a kind and let me share a few reasons...
Dorothy’s Daycare is her non-profit organization that is exclusively enjoyed by all seven grandchildren.
Once trimmed her toe under a lawn mower and hardly flinched.
Runs around the basement with her grandchildren, still getting holes in her socks at age 66.
Out in the field, “Farmer Dorothy” can be found picking rocks, and delivering lunches, parts and water tanks.
To church she faithfully goes each Sunday.
Hosts fun holiday parties!
Yuck is a word she never allowed. “No thank you,” or “I don’t care for any,” were approved.

Woestehoff is the name she made her children write correctly before sending them to kindergarten.
On the road with her private version of “Meals on Wheels” to help out family and friends.
Exercises routinely.
Saves newspaper clippings for her family.
Treats in her freezer aren’t top secret but it’s a surprise to her when she goes to serve them and they’ve disappeared!
Events of family members she happily attends!
Homemade cakes are her specialty and delivered to each family birthday party!
Operation Christmas Child she supports annually with a trunk load of gifts.
Forty one years she has been married to my dad, and they still love, honor and respect each other.
Faith in God and her love for family are exemplified by her each day.
Any way you spell it out, my mom is a wonderful mom. Submitted by daughter, Pam Weiers.
