The Arlington Enterprise has been a proud member of the community for the past 135 years. It is considered the oldest business in Arlington.

The Arlington Enterprise made its first appearance during the second week of July in 1884.

According to the July 18, 1884 edition of the Sibley County Independent (Henderson), “It is a bright newsy sheet and no doubt will meet with good success. James B. Scharpe, well known throughout the county, is the editor.”
