The Sibley East varsity boys basketball opened its season with a pair of losses last week.
The Wolverines, 0-1 in the Minnesota River Conference and 0-2 overall, will travel to Glencoe-Silver Lake in non-conference action at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 14. Sibley East will also host Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial in non-conference play at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 17.

The visiting Sibley East varsity boys basketball team opened its season with a 61-52 loss to Maple River in non-conference action on Tuesday night, Dec. 3.
Senior JaBez Bates led four players in double figures with 14 points. Juniors Caleb Dose and Aaron Flieth scored 11 points each while senior Lucas Dose hit for 10 points. Senior Tony Bullert hooped four points.
