The Arlington City Council, during its recent regular meeting, voted 3-1 and approved a motion to approve the proposed revision to the 2020 electrical rate increase.

The City Council made the move to revise the electrical rate increase after some business owners raised concerns over the impact to their businesses in 2020.

The City Council basically considered three options, First, there was the original electrical rate increase. There was also alternative number one and alternative number two. The City Council decided on alternative number two.
