Morreim Pharmacy, a fixture on Main Street in Arlington for the past 40-plus years, is set to close at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 10.

Owner Les Morreim said he tried unsuccessfully to sell the pharmacy as a business for several years. Since he would also be required to install an expensive technology update by the end of this year, Les decided it was time to close the business and retire.

The drug store was originally located in the building next door to Morreim Pharmacy.
