The Sibley East American Legion baseball team captured one win in three games during the Third District Baseball Tournament at Montgomery and Waterville last weekend.

The Sibley East American Legion baseball team fell to Holy Family Catholic 11-1 in the opening round of the Third District Baseball Tournament at Montgomery on Friday, July 14.

Kristian Schow paced the Sibley East offensive attack with a double while Seth Fredin and Kyle Sandberg contributed one single each.
Scott Holmquist started the game on the hill for Sibley East and suffered the mound loss. The right hander gave up five earned runs on eight hits. He struck out one and walked four.
