The Arlington City Council, during its regular meeting on Thursday night, March 8,  voted 4-0 and adopted a resolution to enter into a sponsorship agreement with Compeer Financial for a housing study for the City of Arlington. The grant is for $2,500.

The City of Arlington will work with Bob Steetar and his students from the University of Minnesota, Humphrey School of Public Affairs.

The housing study will consist of two phases. The group will first examine why Arlington has not experienced any  new housing in the past 10 years while other area communities have enjoyed success. Second, the group will look at future needs.
