Officials from the cities of Arlington and Gaylord continue to meet and explore a possible merger of the two ambulance services in the future.

The talks recently started because both ambulance services have experienced a shortage of emergency medical technicians (EMTs) from time to time the last couple years.

The representatives from the City of Arlington on the committee include Arlington Ambulance Service Director Sara Burton, Mayor Rich Nagel, City Council member Michelle Battcher, City Council member Tom Hatlestad, Ambulance Service member Bob Lueth and Ambulance Service member Lisa Roseland.
