The Sibley East varsity girls tennis team was blanked by visiting Le Sueur-Henderson 7-0 in Minnesota River Conference action on Thursday afternoon, Sept. 6.

Despite the loss, “the team put in a great effort on each point,” said Sibley East head coach Rene Moriarty. “Giving 100 percent and upholding the integrity of the game/competition is what we have agreed to do as a team. We’ll keep trying to improve each day.”

Sibley East will travel to Le Sueur-Henderson in MRC play on Thursday afternoon, Sept. 13. The Lady Wolverines will travel to St. Peter in non-conference action on Friday afternoon, Sept. 14. Sibley East will host Tri-City United in conference action on Monday afternoon, Sept. 7. In addition, the Lady Wolverines will host United South Central in non-conference play on Tuesday afternoon, Sept. 18.
