Memorial Day programs will be held in Arlington and Green Isle

Memorial Day programs  are set and will be held in Arlington and Green Isle on Monday morning, May 30.
 

Arlington
The Memorial Day Program will be held in Memorial Park at 8:30 a.m. Monday, May 30.


The program is sponsored by the Arlington VFW Post 6031 and Arlington American Legion Post 250. The Arlington VFW Commander is Blackie Schwirtz while the American Legion Commander is Don Seeman. The guest speaker will be Rev. Fred Hinz.

Following the program, the public is invited for lunch and refreshments in the Heritage Building at the Sibley County Fairgrounds.
In case of inclement weather, the Memorial Day Program will be held in the Heritage Building.

Green Isle
The Memorial Day Program will be held in the gym at the Green Isle Community School at 11:30 a.m. Monday, May 30.
The guest speaker will be Father Jerry Berger.

A community potluck will follow the program in the gym at 12:30 p.m.
The Green Isle American Legion and Auxiliary will provide the chicken, beverage and table service. People are asked to bring a desert or dish to share.
A free will offering will be taken.
