The Sibley East varsity girls track team placed seventh during Minnesota River Conference Girls Track and Field Meet at Jordan on Thursday afternoon, May 19.

Belle Plaine dominated the meet with 212.50 team points while Tri-City United placed second with 165 team points. Jordan (113), Le Sueur-Henderson (65), Mayer Lutheran (40), Norwood Young America (47) and Sibley East (40) rounded out the field.

Krentz captured first place in the shot put event and earned all conference honors with a heave of 36’11.” It was a personal best for Krentz in the shot put event.

Krentz also placed second in the discus event and earned honorable mention status with a throw of 115’8.”
