The Arlington City Council, during the consent agenda at its regular meeting on Tuesday night, Sept. 5, voted 4-1 and approved a motion to accept two resignations.

The resignations were from police officer Jordan Voigt and maintenance worker Trevor Latzke.

City Council members Michelle Battcher, Adam Cowell, Tom Hatlestad and James Jaszewski all voted in favor of the motion.

City Council member Jim Heiland, who did not want either employee to leave, voted against the motion.
