The Green Isle City Council, during a recent regular meeting, unanimously adopted a resolution to refund the conduit debt.
The city will be allowed to use its debt issuing power to assist non-profit entities in securing more favorable bond financing for a fixed upfront fee, according to City Clerk Bert Panning.
Panning shall be permitted to enter into an agreement with Kingsway Ministries for the refunding of conduit debt in the original amount of $7,500,000 issued in 2007.
