Harvey E. Rosenfeld, age 68, Mankato, died unexpectedly at his home on Monday, June 15. 
Memorial services were held at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, North Mankato, at 11 a.m. Friday, June 26. Rev. Roger Knepprath officiated.
Burial was in the Garden City Cemetery. Memorials were preferred to St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church.
Harvey Erwin Rosenfeld was born to Erwin and Velma (Thies) Rosenfeld in Glencoe on Nov. 10, 1946 . He graduated from the Arlington-Green Isle High School in 1964. He continued his education at Mankato Commercial College, graduating in 1967 with a degree in Senior Accounting. He served in the United States Air Force from 1968 until his honorable discharge in 1972. Harvey married Catherine J. Gardner on July 26, 1969. After the Air Force, Harvey was employed by the Internal Revenue Service until his retirement in 1997.
Harvey enjoyed fishing, farming, tractor shows and spending time with family. He was an active member of St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, North Mankato.
Harvey is survived by his two sons, John (Billie) and dog, Monte of Wausau, Wis. and Michael (Jill) of Harrisburg, S.D.; granddaughter, Brianna Rosenfeld; niece, Tiffany Rosenfeld; nephews, Matt Rosenfeld, Mitchell Rosenfeld and David Cox; sister-in-law, Joann Rosenfeld; and cousins.
Harvey was preceded in death by his wife, Catherine; brother, Larry; parents; grandparents; aunts; uncle; and cousins.
