The New Ulm Kaiserhoff, Class C members of the River Valley League, will not field a team in 2017, according to a post on the River Valley League website. They will regroup and hope to field a team in 2018.

With all Class C RVL teams scheduled to play each other twice this season, the remaing eight C teams suddenly have two schedule openings which they may or may not choose to fill. The rest of the league schedule will remain as is, other than the 8/9 play-in game for Region 6C.
