Voters in the Arlington-Green Isle area and across the state will go to the polls for the Primary Election on Tuesday, Aug. 12.
There will be two county races on the ballot.
In the race for First District County Commissioner, incumbent Jim Nytes will square off against challengers Bobbie Harder and Matthew McConnell.
The first district includes  the City of Henderson, Faxon Township, Henderson Township, Jessenland Township and Washington Lake Township.
In the race for Fifth District County Commissioner, challengers Mark Santelman, Rob Edwards, Ed Begeman, Norman Grams and Gary Kruggel will battle it out.
The top two finishers in each county race will face one another in the General Election this fall.
