The Sibley East varsity girls volleyball team captured a win in non-conference play and later placed second in the annual Mankato West Volleyball Tournament.
The Lady Wolverines will travel to Norwood Young America at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 11. Sibley East will host Glencoe-Silver Lake in non-conference action at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 16.

The visiting Sibley East varsity girls volleyball team swept Cleveland 3-0 in non-conference action on Tuesday night, Sept. 2.
The Lady Wolverines took the three games 25-14, 25-9 and 25-11 respectively.
Senior Karley Lind converted 24 of 25 serves with 11 aces and distributed 15 set assists. Junior Megan Krentz, who converted six of six serves, collected 10 kills and three blocks. Senior Autumn Dose converted eight of eight serves with three aces and contributed nine digs and four kills. Senior Shelby Voight had nine of 10 serves with two aces and recorded nine digs while senior Kelli Martens added eight kills.
