Anna Marie Smith, 77, resident of Owasso, Okla., passed from this life on Wednesday, Jan. 21. 
Memorial services for Anna will be held at Faith Lutheran Church, Owasso, Okla., at 1 p.m. Monday, Feb. 2. Pastor Mark Neumann will officiate. 

Inurnment of her cremains will be at the Fort Gibson National Cemetery, Fort Gibson, Okla.  Services have been entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso.   www.moweryfs.com. 

Anna was born to Thure E. and Charlotte (Lundberg) Holmberg in Minneapolis on June 13, 1937. She was raised and received her education in St. Paul. On March 28, 1953, she was united in marriage to Donald H. (Don) Smith in Wichita Falls, Texas.  Because of his military career, they lived in a number of places before returning to Minnesota, making their home in both Stillwater and Arlington. They have made their home in Owasso since August of 2014.  Anna was a member of Faith Lutheran Church, and enjoyed crocheting and restoring antiques with her husband, always seeing the value in their work.  Family was always a priority, and she enjoyed spending time with them, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Those that survive include her husband of 61 years — Donald of the home; a daughter, Dawn (Manly) Carpenter  of Owasso; three sisters, Mae Kane of St. Paul, Janice Anderson of Lindstrom, and Ginger Beaver of North Branch. Also surviving are two granddaughters, Amber (Brett) Clark of Tulsa, Amanda (Pete) Edwards of Broken Arrow, Okla.; and two great grandchildren, Berlynn Clark and Jaxson Edwards.
 
Anna was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Deniece Smith, in September of 2012; two brothers; and one sister.
