Arlington man suffers minor injuries, 2 others killed in crash near Jordan

An Arlington man suffered minor injuries and two Shakopee men were killed in a two-vehicle accident along Highway 169 near Jordan at 1:01 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 11, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
Kenneth L. Wentzlaff, 70, Arlington, was driving a 1999 Freightliner conventional semi southbound in the left lane while David P. Sorenson, 60, was driving a 2005 Ford Escape eastbound on 173rd Street West, according to the report. The Ford Escape attempted to make a left turn onto Highway 169 when it was broadsided by the semi.
Sorenson and a passenger, Richard A. Pepinski, 76, passed away at the scene, the report said.a
Wentzlaff suffered minor injuries, but was not transported to a medical facility, according to the report.
