SE cross country teams run in section

The Sibley East varsity boys and girls cross country teams competed in the Section 2A Cross Country Meet at Winnebago on Thursday afternoon, Oct. 23.
Boys Team
The Wolverines finished 14th among 21 teams at the section meet.
Senior Cole Bruhn placed 32nd among 141 runners with a time of 18:05. Junior Jack Ballalatak placed 68th with a clocking of 19:06 while freshman Logan Tesch finished 70th with a showing of 19:08. Senior Korban Strand placed 88th with a time of 19:38 while freshman Kristian Schow finished 91st with a clocking of 19:41. Junior Justin Bennett placed 98th with a time of 19:55 while senior Sam Thies finished 114th with a showing of 20:29.
